Elias Messinas & Despoina Kouinoglou - ECOWEEK Book. Green Talks.
Welcome to the fifteenth episode of GREEN TALKS. The Podcast series powered by ECOWEEK and hosted by ARCHISEACH.gr. In this series we interview leading Architecture and Design personalities who share their experience and how they connect between Design, Sustainability and Innovation. I am Elias Messinas architect and the creator of ECOWEEK. I am joined by Vassilis Bartzokas founder of ARCHISEARCH. This is a very special broadcast as for the first time we are joined by a live audience in real time. Today in our podcast we will discuss the new book by ECOWEEK ’15 Paths to Sustainability: from Innovation to Social Design’, edited by Elias Messinas and Despoina Kouinoglou which came out early this year. The publication was supported by Galenica SA, Greece. Despoina joins us today to speak about the book. Despoina is a landscape architect based in London. I am proud to say that Despoina was an ECOWEEK Associate for 5 years until last year. The book we will be discussing today is the fourth ECOWEEK book, and perhaps the most up to date with the most current trends in sustainable design, innovation, circularity in design, social design, and public participation.
