Welcome to the GREEN TALKS, the new series of Podcasts co-hosted by Vassilios Bartzokas creator of ARCHISEARCH.GR & the DESIGN AMBASSADOR, and architect Elias Messinas creator of ECOWEEK. In this new series the duo interviews leading Architecture and Design personalities who share their experience and how they connect Design, Sustainability and Innovation in their work.
Nicola Delon, is an architect and co-founder of Encore Heureux Architects an award winning firm that among others curated the French pavilion at the 16th Biennale in Venice in 2018, and undertook a variety of projects. Nicola studied architecture at Toulouse and at the Université de Montréal as well as at McGill University and received his diploma from the Architecture School of Paris La Vilette. In 2001 he founded Encore Heureux, agence d’architecture, with Julien Chopin. The work of Encore Heureux includes projects for temporary facilities, including a proposal for travelling performance halls using the French railway network (2005), Thèatre 95 (Cergy Pontoise, 2006) and the installation ‘Lieux Infinis’ in the French pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2018, which was curated by Encore Heureux. Building projects include Ciné 32 (Auch, 2012), the AteliersMédicis (Clichy-sous-Bois, 2018) and the Lycée de Longoni (Mayotte, under construction). In 2015 Delon was selected as the ambassador for architecture at the Assises de la Jeune Création
