Tribute to actor and tenor Orestis Makris
Orestis Makris was a Greek actor in theatre and cinema and a tenor of operetta. He finished the Athens Conservatory and appeared on stage first as a tenor at the Rosalia Nika troupe in 1925. He participated in about forty films playing characteristic roles mostly the over strict father, but will be remembered for portraying the most believable alcoholic man in the film "The Drunkard" He is considered on of the most significant modern Greek actors.
