Giorgos Lyggeridis, a 31-year-old sergeant in Units for the Reinstatement of Order, is the 14th victim of fan violence in Greece in the last 40 years. With this event fresh in our minds, we go back to the murder of Michalis Filopoulos in 2007, a turning point for fan violence in Greece.
