Vasileios (Vasilis) has been highly focused on cutting-edge machine learning models, with particular emphasis on Federated Learning and clinical trials related to ocular and neurological diseases. Years of study and research have resulted in an extensive knowledge base in these areas, and a deep passion for exploring the potential of these technologies. Also, has been fortunate to have had the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects, and has been involved in numerous breakthroughs in the field. Invaluable experience has been progressively gained, and has been applied to develop innovative solutions during hackathons with interdisciplinary scientists receptive to new ideas.
Ilias is working in the IT sector since the early years of his professional career (more than ten years of actual working experience). This helped get a solid understanding of the, healthcare, public health, financial, hospitality, travel, and shipping industries. As an Application Development Manager for Global Cruise Lines Ltd, led an agile team focusing on customer onboarding, payments, procurements, and ship-to-shore communication optimisation. Defined KPIs, created a roadmap, and owned the delivery of the features and related metrics. In addition, in the past, Ilias worked as a Business Consultant at UniSystems, a member of a multi-disciplined team that defined a software development lifecycle guide along with the relevant toolchain for large-scale IT systems; currently, working as Business Analyst at the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control at the Early Warning and Response System. Ilias’ economic and technical background helps collaboration between business stakeholders and the development team. A keen enthusiast of modern technologies and the start-up ecosystem with winning places at international Hackathons.
Dimitra is a mobile developer with a passion for creating amazing user experiences in native form. Previous projects involved delivering high-quality mobile apps for both iOS and Android platforms with various technologies such as Swift, Java, Kotlin. One of her greatest strengths as a developer is the collaborative spirit with designers, product managers, and other developers to create apps that meet the client's requirements and exceed user expectations. Mobile apps that are not only visually appealing but also easy to use and navigate are something that motivates her. In addition to technical skills, a love for cats has been nurtured. A genuine appreciation for their unique personalities and playful nature has been developed, leading to a deep understanding of the needs and wants of feline companions.
Nikitas is an industrial and product designer focusing on creating innovative and functional furniture designs that meet the needs of clients.Through his experience many prototypes and 3D models designed with cost-effective in mind. The success of deliverable designs has been attributed to focus on user experience and meticulous attention to detail within the scope of products branding, packaging, and user manuals. Other interests include developing renewable energy systems, reducing waste production, and improving supply chain sustainability allowing contribution of more sustainable future.
