Zeibekiko Dance

World-renowned dancer, choreographer and Zeibekiko expert, Christos Shakallis, joins the boys in the studio together with dance teacher and Zeibekiko Festival organiser, Sophia Ventouris, to talk all things Zeibekiko! This unique dance is often the highlight of any major Greek event, and in many ways borders on the spiritual for the dancer. Christos and Sophia share their decades worth of experience and passion as they explain the meaning, background and influence of this powerful dance that turns ordinary individuals and non-dancers alike into poets on the dance floor.
