Life in Britain has spoiled me greatly, because it has set my expectations very high when it comes to how efficiently I can do government-related things, and I always forget that in Greece, government-related things are a Herculean task, or, better, a Sisyphean task: endless and futile. We’re all very good at lifting boulders in this country.
