DIALOGUES 32. Tourism In Uncharted Waters
International tourism, which is widely recognized as Greece’s leading industry, has been severely interrupted on a global scale due to COVID-19. On Wednesday, June 10 at 18:30 (GMT+3) the SNF DIALOGUES explored the new conditions that prevail in tourism both locally and internationally. As tourism restarts, entrepreneurs and employees will be walking a tightrope between the economy and public health, attempting to manage unknown parameters in an unfamiliar landscape. Greece’s effective response in dealing with the crisis so far has been encouraging. Regardless, this year Greek tourism is inextricably tied with worldwide health, financial, and diplomatic considerations. At the same time, the international tourism sector is working to address the multi-layered challenges caused by ongoing developments.
Participants in the DIALOGUES webcast on “Tourism in Uncharted Waters”:

The DIALOGUES are curated and moderated by Anna-Kynthia Bousdoukou.
