DIALOGUES 43. On The Street A Discussion About Homelessness With The Homeless
After a long stretch of pandemic lockdowns and restrictions in Greece and many other countries, there is a sense that it’s time for people to start going out again. But what about the people who didn’t have a home in the first place?
At a time marked by a loosening of the restrictions that have kept us inside, SNF DIALOGUES, a series of events held through journalism nonprofit iMEdD, hosted a discussion on Wednesday, May 26 at 18:30 (EET) focusing on the people who have been without an “inside” to stay in and were forced to live life in the streets.
In collaboration with the team from Shedia street magazine, the SNF DIALOGUES event gave the floor to five people experiencing homelessness. They shared their experiences, discussed what life is like for them, and their needs, and together explored the reality that homelessness can happen to anyone—despite society’s illusions to the contrary.
The DIALOGUES are curated and moderated by Anna-Kynthia Bousdoukou.
