Cement Dreams: A tale of environing pollutants and militant ecologies - Antonis Petras is a student in the Master Program "Mobility Studies", University of Thessaly.
Does suffocation have a sound? What is the link connecting social, environmental movements around the globe, struggling against that very suffocation? And could international solidarity ever be expressed through chants, music or lyrics? We asked the cement factory of AGET the above mentioned question and we got no answers. Only noise.
The third season of podcasts is entitled "Claiming Visibility: Voices from the Margins". The Laboratory of Social Anthropology of the University of Thessaly, in collaboration with the student network of dëcoloîize hellàş initiative, deals with a spectrum of various exclusions and “unwanted” bodies that succeed, fail or remain in the border/lands while trying to access society. Their production was funded by the Experimental Humanities Collaborative Network.
