Tribute to Greek actor Alekos Alexandrakis
Alekos Alexandrakis (November 27, 1928 – November 8, 2005) was a Greek actor who excelled on the big and small screen and from early on established himself in jeune premier roles. With the neorealist film Quarter the Dream (1961) he was awarded at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival. He starred in more than 60 big screen movies, captivating the female audience with his looks, character & talent. In the theatre he played important roles in performances, among which are: Strange Intermezzo, Journey of the Day in the Night, They Were All My Children, Madama Batterflai, The Woman in Black, Four Rooms with Garden, Crime and Punishment.
