We are chating with Carlos Rodríguez Domínguez, who is a Tenured University Professor at the University of Granada, Spain, where he also obtained his Ph. D. in Computer Sciences and Master Degree in Software Development. He is also a co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Everyware Technologies, S. L. since 2012
About the Speaker:
Carlos Rodríguez Domínguez is a Tenured University Professor at the University of Granada, Spain, where he also obtained his Ph. D. in Computer Sciences and Master Degree in Software Development. He is also a co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Everyware Technologies, S. L. since 2012.
He is a member of the Modeling & Development of Advanced Software Systems (MYDASS) research group. He participates as a guest editor of high prestige journals and as a member of several organizing and program committees of multiple international conferences, workshops and scientific journals.
He has participated as a developer and researcher in more than 30 R&D&I national and international projects, also publishing around 120 papers in highly ranked journals, national and international conferences. He has also supervised 3 doctoral thesis and is currently supervising 4 ongoing doctoral works.
He owns 1 patent and 19 intellectual properties, all of them currently licensed to different public and private organizations. His research work is focused on the development of Internet of Things (IoT)-based systems and context-aware applications, with a special interest in applications related to disaster management.
