About the Speaker:
Friedrich Altenburg is a researcher and lecturer at the Department of Migration and Globalisation at the University for Continuing Education Krems, Austria. He has graduated in History and Communication Sciences. After graduation he has been working for almost 20 years in humanitarian relief and international development before returning to academia. He is coordinating the department’s teaching programme on migration, integration and global competences.
