You spend your life not caring about spiders and then you read the myth of Arachne and *BAM*, there’s now a tug in your heartstrings everytime you come across a little spidey in your home or in nature and you don’t even want to destory their web because you feel bad they lost the competition with Athena and really, you too were supporting the underdog in that story.
