405-11: Armenian genocide recognized by the US House

Last week the US House of Representatives passed two historic votes. The first was an almost unanimous vote (405-11) to pass H. Res. 296 recognizing the Armenian, Greek, and Assyrian genocide. The second vote saw the House pass a bill (403-16) to impose sweeping sanctions on Turkey.
