A day of chaos and violence on Capitol Hill, Democrats win the Senate, and more

A pro-Donald Trump rally on Wednesday devolved into unrest and insurrection as rioters overwhelmed the Capitol Police and stormed Congress, temporarily shutting down a vote to certify President-elect Joe Biden’s win. The scenes of chaos have left the nation and the world shaken. Wednesday also saw the Democrats take control of the Senate after results in Georgia’s election confirmed the victory of both Democratic candidates. 

Georgia Logothetis, HALC’s managing director, joins us to help make sense of what happened yesterday in Washington, DC, and break down what a Democratic controlled Senate will mean for Hellenic issues.
