Can Greece become an educational hub?

A topic that has gained particular attention over the last years, as was highlighted at the Delphi Economic Forum at the end of April, is Greece’s effort to become a global education hub. Alexis Phylactopoulos, the President of College Year in Athens (CYA) - the oldest and largest study abroad institution in Greece - and of its Athens subsidiary, The International Center for Hellenic and Mediterranean Studies (DIKEMES), joins Thanos Davelis to explore why Greece is in a unique position to become an educational hub, look at how study abroad is a critical element of this discussion as students from around the world who study abroad in Greece can become force multipliers for Greece and Hellenic values, and explore what steps Greece can take to really scale up its efforts on this front.
