Election uncertainty in Greece amid rumors of snap polls

Most journalists, analysts, and even politicians themselves seem to have concluded that Greece will head to early elections this fall. This week, Prime Minister Mitsotakis moved to dismiss these rumors, saying that he is prepared to assume the cost of resisting pressure for snap polls for the sake of stability, and added that he plans to see his government through its four-year term. In the meantime, polls are showing that the people do not want elections now. Tom Ellis, the editor in chief of Kathimerini English Edition, joins Thanos Davelis today to discuss why most pundits and politicians are convinced of early elections, and make the case that this election uncertainty is damaging not only to the ruling party, but to Greece.
