Migration back in the spotlight as focus turns to the Balkans and Turkey

Migration is back in the headlines this week, as the UN released a report warning of increasing numbers of deaths on routes across the Mediterranean, on land borders to Europe and within the continent. Expert Angeliki Dimitriadi, a research fellow at the Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi) in Berlin who contributes to the institute’s work on migration, joins Thanos Davelis to look into these latest developments and the questions they raise about Europe’s migration policy.
