Late last week Greece’s Prime Minister Mitsotakis spoke with Turkey’s President Erdogan on the phone after six months of complete silence. Sources suggest that the discussion was an attempt to “break the ice” between the two sides in an effort to ease tensions that have built up. Tom Ellis, the editor of Kathimerini English Edition, joins the Greek current today to give us his insight on what was discussed.
